Togetherness
UniversalComfortingPartner / SpouseParentFriend
I have lost more than you'll ever know when I lost you. But I have not lost everything. I still have the memories we made, the laughter we shared, the love that held us close. I still have the morning walks, the evening talks, the silent understanding that needed no words. I still have the way you smiled, the sound of your voice, the warmth of your hand in mine. Death has taken you from my sight, but not from my heart. Not from my soul. Not from the place where togetherness lives on. For we are woven together, you and I, in a tapestry that cannot be undone. And wherever I go from here, I carry you with me— not as a memory fading, but as a presence, abiding, always.
