Prayer of Thanksgiving for a Life Well Lived

Heavenly Father,
we give you heartfelt thanks for the life of your servant
whom we remember before you today.

We thank you for the gift of their life,
for all that they were to those who loved them,
and for every memory we hold dear.

We thank you for the love they shared,
the kindness they showed,
the laughter they brought,
and the difference they made in our lives.

Grant us the grace to treasure what we have received,
to honour their memory in the way we live,
and to trust that your love holds them safe
until we are united once more.

Through Jesus Christ our Lord.
